Viswasam : Nayanthara’s Towering Performance as Niranjana and Kannaana Kanney stand out in this Festive Release

Continuing with their Trend of Family Relationships (Brother-Brother in Veeram, Brother-Sister in Vedalam, Husband-Wife in Vivegam), this Fourth Siva-Ajith Collaborative Venture Focuses on the Relationship of a Father-Daughter duo. The Writing is Weak and Insipid. Ajith’s face and eyes look puffed and tired in most of the shots. He lacks the physical vigour he expressed in Vivegam. Robo Shankar and Thambi Ramaiah just blabber unmemorable dialogues throughout the movie. The comedy scenes in the first half are mostly ridiculous. Kovai Sarala is a repetitive bore. Jagapati Babu is poorly written. But it is good to see his antagonistic character transform at the end of the movie unlike most commercial films where the villain is either jailed or killed. After many Solo Heroine subjects, it is understandable as to why Nayanthara had signed on to play the Female Lead opposite a huge star like Ajith.
