Geetha Govindam (GG) is a Perfect Example for the Effect an Excellent Song can have on a Movie’s Box Office Crowd. Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale, the Fantastic Carnatic Melody created by the Talented Gopi Sundar, sung by the Heavenly Gifted Sid Sriram and written by the Magical Hands of Anantha Sriram gets a Thunderous Arousal in the movie theatre during the opening credits scene when the Violin part at the Beginning of the Song (True Bliss) starts to play.
Visually, GG rides on the Sparkling Chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika. The story gives an Equal Importance to both the Male and the Female Protagonists and thus is one of the Highlights of this movie.
Vijay Deverakonda looks Comfortable in his Role and carries his Character with much ease. His Transition from the ill-tempered Doctor in Arjun Reddy is Commendable. His “Sorry Madam, Intentional Kaadhu Madam” Plead towards Rashmika is present throughout the film and he doesn’t bore the audience even once. Vijay is Inspired by a scene from Indian (Bharateeyudu in Telugu) in which Kamal Haasan’s wife Understands his Motives by just Looking at his Facial Expressions. Vijay says that this is the type of Relationship he wants in his Life. This goes on to show the effect this 90’s movie by Shankar has had on GG’s Director Parasuram.
Sporting an Irritated and a Sulky face for most part of the film, Rashmika Mandanna Beautifully Transforms after she starts having feelings for Vijay. In a particular Emotional Pre-Climactic scene, she Steals the Show when she Cries and Advises Vijay not to Search for a Girl who Resembles his Mother in Character but to rather love a girl he likes and Inculcate the Good Characteristics in his Wife to make his Wife a Good Mother.
In my opinion, GG has one Heroine Rashmika and two Heroes Vijay Deverakonda and Sid Sriram.
